Ideas, Anyone? Blog Candy Offered

I haven't been able to stamp even a single card or make a single scrapbook page since the fire ~ partly because I lost most of my supplies, and partly because I haven't had the time or desire.

I do want to make a thank you card for the firefighters, though. Those guys were amazing. There were about 20 of them at our home that day, and they went into what was already an inferno when they arrived, searching our home to make sure no one was there. I can't say enough about them ~ having never seen them in action before, I had no idea the danger they subject themselves too. They are amazing men and women.

One of my alphabet sets is intact, so I wanted to make a card with the word "heroes" spelled out on it, and possibly an image on the front as well. Anyone have any ideas?

Since I'm not feeling very creative lately, I'd love links that I could go to to CASE a suitable thank you. Can you help? I'll offer some blog candy to the person who points me to the card I use. It can be yours or someone else's. The candy won't be much, since I lost a lot, but I promise I'll send something.

Hi Marla,
I love the idea of making thank you cards for your heroes... why don't you and Kelton pop over to my place later this week? You can use all of my stamps, inks and really anything you need to make them. It would be really great to see you!

I would be willing to make some cards for you and send them out to you to give them. I understand how it can be hard to get the motivation back after something so traumatic. Let me know if this would be helpful to you.

OH dear...my heart goes out to you. It is a wonderful idea to do thank you cards thought. It doesn't really matter if its much or not...it comes from your heart and that is the important part. Actually a heart or a star would be nice on the card for love and courage. If I run across any good cards in my blog hopping I will certainly send you the links.
In the meantime...if you give me your snail mail address I would love to send YOU some blog candy! or at the very least ...a few cards. Let me know. God bless you.

Bless you! How about you post a RAK for this nice thanks to your fire fighters. Power in numbers ya know! Before you know it there will easily be 20 bloggers signing up! I certainly am on board for this! I would be happy to post your RAK on my blog too!
There are wonderful fire truck dyes, and maybe there is a fire truck in SU or ebay. I can check! Deb

I'm so sorry to read about your fire. I don't think we'd all want you to send out blog candy just for some help. Perhaps if you'd send us your address, we could all RAK YOU, and send some little goodies in the mail to you to help you start up your supplies and put a smile on your face?

Idea: I did a sheet of serendipity using a range of coloured cs that worked well, then stamped on some, (words and other), but not alot, added some banana leave papers and with a soft mellow leather colour, then some masculine colours to mat tiny squaes matted on burgundy, onto navy card or green card, they look very masculine!

Let's RAK her everyone!! Send us your snail mail. bluemoonbynite@yahoo.com
